How is the facial cleansing brush different from other silicone body brushes?
Silicone itself does not have antibacterial effects. Cleanshawer brushes are made from food-grade silicone that is infused with silver and zinc during the manufacturing process to help fight bacterial and fungal growth on the brush. Unlike any other exfoliating product, the fine exfoliating fins are gentler on the skin and provide a relaxing sequence.

How do I clean my cleansing brush?
We recommend cleaning your brushes every 3 weeks because over time, dirt, hair and soap scum can accumulate between the bristles and the grip pattern. To clean, use a toothbrush dipped in dish soap and gently scrub between the fins, inside and back of the brush. Rinse thoroughly with warm water to remove any stubborn dirt or stains. Alternatively, you can place the brush on the top rack of the washer and cycle through the dishwasher as normal.

How to disinfect facial cleansing brush?
Additionally, while Cleanshower brushes have antimicrobial properties designed to protect the product, we recommend additional sanitizing from time to time. To do this, place the brush in boiling water for 2 minutes. This will also loosen and remove soap scum that may have built up over time,

Test How often should I change my brushes?
Depending on your personal habits and frequency of brush use, we recommend replacing them at least once a year
